At St. John’s, our pupils are at the heart of everything we do. Our students’ views and opinions matter and is shown throughout our school, giving our pupils the opportunity to actively guide their primary school experience.
Our school councillors pride themselves on the active role they take within the day-to-day life of the school. The School Council is made up of two children from each year group in Key Stage 1 and 2. These pupils have been elected by their peers to represent the view points of all pupils within the school and meet regularly with our headteacher, Mr Ramsay.
Our Head Boy and Head Girl were chosen by pupils to represent St. John’s.
Our House Team Captains are pupils in year 6 who are chosen to represent their house team. Their role includes supporting pupils in their team and being an impeccable role model. Every Friday, they arrange a team to take part in the House Games during lunchtime.
Young Leaders are available every lunchtime and are trained to lead activities and support pupils during unstructured times. They are always available to listen to their peers and help others.
