It was lovely to see so many of the children in Yellow today for World Mental Health day. The children all across school have taken part in activities to promote positive mental health and emotional wellbeing as well as a special assembly this morning.

Year 1 looked at ways of keeping calm when they are feeling angry or upset. We practised our starfish breathing and played Pass the Squeeze – a game all about gentle calming touch.

Year 2 shared ideas about how we can look after our mental health. They had some fantastic ideas and it was so positive that none involved spending time on a screen. Please try some out!
