Year 6 have developed a class charter. This is an agreement they have committed to which outlines the ‘rights and responsibilities’ of everyone in the class. We began by considering the values that are important to us. We voted to identify those that we believe to be the most important and then used these to develop our charter. We know that some of the aspects on our charter will not be easy to achieve and we will have to work on them so we have all set ourselves targets that we hope to achieve this year. As part of our work we also looked at ‘The Rule of Law’. We learnt about the Magna Carta and considered why laws are important in society.  Click on the link below to find out about the causes and consequences of the Magna Carta.
