At St John’s we are very lucky to have a range of faiths in our school and even luckier to join in the celebrations of those faiths. Nursery have been learning about Eid and were sent these photos from one of our nursery pupils. We love being part of our children’s religious experiences.

We (muslims) celebrate 2 Eids in a moon year… one celebrated after fasting whole month of Ramadan and second celebrated after Pilgrimag…
Its month of Ramadan going on and we fast from sunrise till sunset… and after a month of fasting muslims celebrate Eid in which they offer prayer and greet every other muslim they meet, have big feast and mostly families celebrate together…
